Profile: Richard joined the firm in 2008 having qualified with a large national firm. Richard has a pharmaceutical background, being a qualified pharmacist since 1990, and brings his wealth of pharmaceutical experience and life sciences interest to the team. Richard is a commercial and intellectual property lawyer with broad experience including advising on the identification, protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights, consumer credit, and a wide range of commercial contracts. Practising dually as a solicitor and pharmacist, Richard has established a specialist pharmacy law team which advises clients in the pharmacy sector on corporate acquisitions and disposals, NHS dispensing contract applications, minor relocations and oppositions, regulatory, commercial, IP/IT, disciplinary issues and other issues affecting pharmacy businesses. Richard is a regular author of legal articles which are published in the pharmaceutical press. In relation to his IT, Internet and e-business related matters, Richard has particular expertise in domain name recovery actions and dispute resolution and advising on website terms and conditions and privacy policies.
