Profile:
Paula joined Brabner Chaffe Street in November 2011, having previously been a Partner at Hill Dickinson LLP. Paula is based at the Manchester office but has a client base across the North West.
Paula has over 20 years experience in all aspects of family law but with a particular emphasis on resolving financial claims within divorce proceedings involving business assets, trusts or pension provision. She specialises in representing owner managed business owners in divorce and associated complex financial proceedings and in reaching pragmatic commercially driven solutions. She also represents parties in schedule 1 financial claims where couples are not married and there are disputes over property or financial provision for children.
Paula also has substantial experience in the preparation of relationship and pre-marriage agreements to protect and safeguard trust, inherited or business assets.
Paula is a member of Resolution, the national organisation of family lawyers and is a trained collaborative lawyer. Accordingly she is able to resolve family matters through the collaborative or traditional court process.
Paula is recommended in Legal 500 as having ‘’integrity and professionalism beyond her years’’ and in Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession where she is recommended for her ability to instil confidence through an assured approach.
