Matthew has been commended in Legal 500 as ‘an excellent Junior Lawyer, old beyond his years’. He has developed a particular specialism handling property work for industrial and logistics companies and is on the approved panel of lawyers for the Freight Transport Association. Matthew’s expertise covers investment sales and purchases, property development, negotiating property requirements in third party logistics agreement and acting for landlords and tenants on industrial lettings including lease restructuring. Notable transactions include the sale of two international rail freight terminals totalling 33 acres, restructuring of a finance lease arrangement between two multinational businesses to allow for the development of an extension to a high-bay warehouse hub and advising an occupier on a design and build contract for a warehouse of over 100,000 square feet.
