Profile:
John trained with Brabners Chaffe Street, and qualified into the Manchester Employment team in 2007. John has a broad range of employment law experience, spanning both contentious and non-contentious employment work. John has advised claimants and respondents in connection with a wide variety of complex Employment Tribunal claims. John also advises companies on how to protect their interests through effective use of covenants and confidentiality provisions and he has been involved in injunctive proceedings. John works closely with companies to provide day to day HR advice on a range of workplace issues such as the handling of disciplinary and grievance issues, managing poor performance and absence, dealing with misconduct, executive terminations, contractual disputes and TUPE. He also regularly reviews and drafts contracts of employment, policies and procedures, and compromise agreements.
