Profile:
Jason specialises in sports law. He advises international federations, national governing bodies, clubs, event and tour organisers (and marketing agencies) on the protection, structuring and exploitation of the rights relating to their brand marketing programmes including through sponsorship, broadcasting, the Internet, new media and licensed merchandise. He has particular expertise advising sponsors on all aspects of their sponsorship programmes including, in particular, the acquisition of sponsorship rights from rights holders. In total, he has advised rights holders and sponsors on over �900 million worth of deals. He also specialises in advising federations, governing bodies and individuals on constitutional and disciplinary issues including anti-doping. He also advises in all non-contentious aspects of the media and entertainment sector including advising on contracts relating to artists, production, broadcasting, publishing and sponsorship.
