Profile: Colin joined the firm in 2007 having spent five years at a major London firm where he trained, qualifying in 2004. He is a commercial and intellectual property lawyer with experience in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property law including patents, trade marks, copyright, database rights, design rights and domain names. Colin advises on commercial contracts, licensing arrangements, franchising, data protection, promotion and advertising issues, intellectual property strategies and e-commerce matters. Colin also has extensive experience in brand management and strategy, filing and prosecuting trade mark applications and litigious intellectual property matters. Colin offers a friendly and positive approach, while remaining commercially and solutions focused. Colin also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Commercial Intellectual Property and has been a member of the International Trade Mark Association since 2005.
