Profile:
Chris is a dual qualified (Scotland and England) solicitor who specialises in sports law, as well as having significant London corporate experience gained at a Magic Circle law firm. He has worked extensively in football, and has advised a number of Premier League clubs on regulatory matters including high profile cases before The Football Association, UEFA and the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber. Chris has also regularly advised football clubs in England and Scotland, as well as agents, on a number of matters including all aspects of the transfer of players, contract negotiations, commercial matters, regulation of agents and the international recruitment of young players. In addition, he has advised a number of national sporting federations on constitutional issues. He has also published several articles on sports law in academic journals.
