In-house Head of Legal Affairs to the national governing body for British Swimming since 1996. Advises on a broad range of commercial, disciplinary and regulatory issues with both a national and international dimension, with a particular interest in doping control and child protection. Member of the Panel of Arbitrators of the Sports Dispute Resolution Panel. Acts as Arbitrator in Football Association/ Football League player transfer disputes. Member of the Faculty of Sports Law, Kings College London. and Senior Lecturer in Sport & Media Law at De Montfort Law School. Member of the British Association for Sport and the Law. Member of the Editorial Board of World Sports Law Report.
