Seddon Developments acquires Matrix Park development site

Leading North West law firm Brabners Chaffe Street has advised Seddon Developments on the purchase of Plot 3000, a 4.12 acre development site at Matrix Park, Chorley for an undisclosed sum.

Seddon Developments has acquired the former BAE site from Harrow Estates, part of the Redrow Group. The site has outline consent for B1, B2 and B8 uses and Seddon Developments intend to apply for consent for a 75,000 sq ft commercial development.

Matthew Dobson, Property Partner at Brabners Chaffe Street, who advised on the deal said: “Despite the tough market conditions, Seddon Developments continues to show an appetite for development sites, spurred on by the success of their scheme at Axis Point, Heywood. They are continuing to buck the trend and we understand they intend to carry out some speculative development on site in early 2012.”
