Brabners advise on Stewart Milne Group's £14m site purchase
18/02/2008Paul Nicholls and Simon Colvin of Brabners Chaffe Street in Manchester advised developer The Stewart Milne Group on the £14m acquisition of a site in Strines, near Stockport.
The property company will build 76 new homes on the site of a former fabric printing mill, further evidence of the Scottish company`s ambitious growth plans in the English market.
Managing Director of Stewart Milne Homes North West England, Damian Seddon commented: `We have had a very positive to start to the year completing the deal for this major residential site. We will be building a real mix of home types. We look forward to getting on site very soon.î
Work on the 76 homes is due to begin shortly, with the first homes estimated to be ready by Summer 2008.
