Preston business centre nears capacity after triple signing
9/05/2008Astra Business Centre in Preston is approaching full capacity with the signing of three new tenants in the same month.
The new arrivals at the business facility situated on Roman Way, Ribbleton, are Pyroglass, Seward and Comack Turner, who collectively will be occupying 40000sq ft.
Pyroglass is a manufacturer of glass rope seals for both commercial and residential markets, whilst Seward produces sample preparation equipment for microbiology, biochemistry and cell biology applications. Comack Turner is a furniture manufacturer.
Astra Business Company (ABC) was advised on contracts for all three new tenants by Mark Niven, solicitor at law firm Brabners Chaffe Street.
Alister Reid, managing director of ABC, said: “The new additions further illustrate the versatility of the accommodation available which has quickly gained an excellent reputation amongst the region's business community.
“It is proof that the there is certainly still demand for space as the provision of business facilities in the North West continues to gather pace.”

Preston-based commercial property agents HDAK were also involved in securing the three new tenants for ABC.
