Under the terms of the deal, payzone has paid an initial £700,000 and anticipates making a similar, additional deferred payment.

payzone is part of the alphyra group, Europe`s largest cash acceptance network, which has 150,000 terminals across the continent offering customers a range of services including topping-up their mobile phones, paying utility bills and making money transfers.

The company was advised on the sale by lawyers from Brabners Chaffe Street`s corporate division, led by Partner Caroline Litchfield, associate William Ngan and solicitor Alex O`Connell, employment associate Simon Whitehead with specialist technology and data advice from Amanda Kearsley, Partner at law:matix.
