Easing the burden of employment legislation
16/11/2011Employers finding new employment legislation a challenge can outsource their HR services to ease the administrative burden, says leading North West law firm Brabners Chaffe Street.
Sitting on an expert panel at the international HRO summit in Barcelona, Marcus Difelice, Employment Partner at Brabners Chaffe Street, spoke about the commercial outsourcing of HR services and the positive impact it can have on businesses.
Marcus said: “New legislation, such as the Agency Workers Regulations, has brought major changes for businesses and left some employers who don't have the right systems in place exposed to employment tribunal claims as well as causing them major resourcing and financial headaches.
“Many businesses are unaware that they can outsource the problem to service providers who will manage the temporary workers and all the HR issues surrounding their employment. The legal obligations rest with the service provider relieving employers of the administration burden and leaving them with one less compliance worry.”
