Brabners helps sale of Britain's biggest suppliers of of office equipment
16/01/2007The corporate and property departments at Brabners Chaffe Street in Manchester have helped complete the sale of one of Britain`s biggest suppliers of office equipment.
Head of corporate, Tony Harper, and solicitors Anna Gregory and Malcolm Glynn acted on behalf of Yorkshire Bank Specialist and Acquisition Finance on the sale of West Yorkshire-based Wyse Leasing (North).
Under the terms of the acquisition and Buy-In deal, the firm has been sold to private investor Tyro Finance Limited. Wyse Leasing`s shareholders, Max Reid and Jeremy Hall, will remain as shareholders in the new company. Mr Reid also becomes a non-executive director.
Wyse Leasing employs 15 staff at its Wakefield headquarters and has a turnover of £2 million. Founded in 1989, it specialises in leasing computers, audio-visual kit, phones and furniture to offices.
Paul Hardman from Yorkshire Bank`s Specialist and Acquisition Finance team provided an undisclosed amount of debt and payment facilities with additional equity participation from Venture Capitalists Fountain Capital. Manchester accountants Bentley Jennison acted on behalf of Mr Reid and Mr Hall.
