Brabners Chaffe Street team advise Begbies
28/06/2010A team from the Manchester office of leading North West law firm Brabners Chaffe Street, led by Partner Caroline Litchfield, has advised Begbies Traynor Group on its acquisition of business recovery and insolvency practitioner Tomlinsons.
It is expected that Tomlinsons, which employs 13 staff at offices in Manchester and Blackburn, will be merged into the Group`s existing insolvency operation.
So far this year, King Street-based Brabners Chaffe Street has advised on a string of high profile deals, including the purchase of Urmston-based contractor J Mills by former Eatonfield Group executive Paul Noall, and the sale of Ask Development`s residential property arm, Abito, to Infinity Asset Management and Levitt.
It is now ranked as one of the top five most active corporate practices in the North West and the largest locally-based corporate legal teams.
