Brabners Chaffe Street strengthens employment team

Brabners Chaffe Street has strengthened its employment law expertise with the appointment of Alan Lewis as a Partner in Manchester.

Alan joins the firm from George Davies Solicitors where he established its employment department. His wide experience in commercial law, practised earlier in his career, together with employment law expertise, gives him an added dimension. He has had notable successes acting for clients in relation to employment tribunal claims for disability discrimination and became the appointed adviser for various professional and retail businesses, including the UK's leading dry cleaning company.

Alan has practised in the North West for over 22 years and continues to advise businesses on how to implement their HR strategy, including staffing restructures, collective changes of terms and senior executive terminations.

He joins a team at Brabners Chaffe Street who were recently awarded employment team of the year at the 2011 Manchester Legal Awards.
