Brabners provide legal advice to major authority

Leading North West law firm Brabners Chaffe Street has been chosen to provide legal support to one of the UK`s leading authorities on disability, disadvantage and employment.

The firm was selected by the Shaw Trust following a competitive pitch process to give advice on all employment, corporate and commercial, charity law and property issues.

The Trust is the country`s leading provider of employment services for disabled people. Founded in 1982, it now works with more than 40,000 people a year across England, Wales and Scotland helping create, find, prepare for and retain jobs.

The organisation has a network of more than 1,000 staff stretching across the country, 16 per cent of whom are themselves disabled.

The Brabners Chaffe Street presentation to the Trust was made by partners Paul Chamberlain, Marcus Difelice, Mark Brandwood, David Maples and Jim Purves from the employment, corporate and property departments respectively.
