Figures add up for top Liverpool Lawyer

William Ngan of Brabners Chaffe Street was the only candidate in the North West and one of only 19 in the UK to receive a distinction on the Business Taxation and Accounting Principles paper in the Association of Taxation Technician`s recent exams.
The achievement is strengthened by the fact that the majority of those examined are accountants rather than lawyers.
The ATT is the leading professional body for those providing tax compliance services and related activities in the UK. By passing these exams, William now qualifies as a Taxation Technician.
Janet Pickavance, chief executive of Brabners Chaffe Street, said: `William`s success in the ATT exams is particularly impressive considering that he is not only a taxation specialist, but also a corporate lawyer. His expertise has proved invaluable within the department.î
Although based in the Liverpool corporate department, William`s specialism means that he provides support to Brabner`s other departments across the firm`s Liverpool, Manchester and Preston offices.
William is now preparing to begin his studies for The Chartered Institute of Taxation`s Chartered Tax Advisor qualification.
