Brabners helps beat the rival
3/05/2007Lawyers at Brabners Chaffe Street in Manchester have helped one of the country`s leading contract hire and fleet management firms take over one of its rivals.
Blackburn-based MNH Vehicle Contracts has acquired Platinum Fleet Management of Wakefield for an undisclosed sum.
Under the terms of the deal, the Lancashire firm ñ led by Managing Directors Mark Hindle and John Epsom, together with Financial Director Justine Pursglove ñ will assume the Yorkshire company`s entire share capital.
The sale will also see Steve Barraclough, Managing Director of Platinum, become the sales director and a shareholder of MNH.
Mark Brandwood, Managing Partner of Brabners Chaffe Street`s Manchester office, and corporate solicitor colleague Mark Traynor acted on behalf of MNH.
The Blackburn business was also advised by Andrew Campbell and Alex Macleod of Manchester accountants Ford Campbell.
Since beginning operations more than a decade ago, MNH has built up a nationwide client base across a range of services, including personal contract hire, fleet management, accident management, risk management and driver training.
