Brabners Chaffe Street rises through ranks of UK's best employers
9/03/2009Leading law firm Brabners Chaffe Street has boosted its credentials as one of the UK`s best employers by ranking in the top 20 of The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For 2009 and picking up one of just 14 special awards.
The firm, which employs over 350 people across offices in Liverpool, Manchester and Preston, rose seven places to 20th position in the latest edition of the prestigious league table.
Brabners Chaffe Street also received a special award for `best for work & home balance` in recognition of its commitment to providing flexible working hours and support for home working. Other winners included Microsoft, Vodafone UK and advertising giant Bartle Bogle Hegarty.
Seventy four per cent of staff said they were happy with their work life balance, while the firm`s provision of day beds for pregnant staff and shower facilities for those exercising during work hours were also singled out.
The achievements cement the firm`s reputation as one of the top legal firms to work for in the UK.
