Brabners Chaffe Street advises on sale of Betterlifehealthcare to Lloydspharmacy

Leading North West law firm, Brabners Chaffe Street has advised on the sale of Betterlifehealthcare to Lloydspharmacy.

Betterlifehealthcare has been acquired by Lloydspharmacy for an 80% shareholding, boosting its existing independent living offering. Two of the Betterlife founder directors, Derek Abrahams and Grant Abrahams, will retain an ongoing involvement in the business with a 20% stake in the company.

Betterlifehealthcare is a leading UK mail order & internet distributor supplying the general public, trade and private sector with mobility, disability and healthcare products. Business customers include the NHS, Bupa, The British Red Cross, the BBC, ITV and Age Concern.

Derek Abrahams said today, “We are delighted to be selling the Betterlife business to a strong healthcare brand such as Lloydspharmacy and look forward to working with our new partners to continue building the business and service offering.”
