Brabners Chaffe Street advise architects on lease
21/07/2008Lawyers at Manchester-based Brabners Chaffe Street LLP advised Bennett Architects on a ten year renewal of their lease of high-quality offices at 117/119 Portland Street from Bruntwood.
Property solicitor Mark Niven of the King Street law firm advised on the lease of 5653 sq ft on the fourth floor of the building, assisted by Stuart Speer.
Bennett Architects have been based at the address since 1997.
The deal represents further commitment by the prestigious architects practice to Manchester following their involvement in successful projects such as Cheadle Royal in south Manchester, a new plant and innovation centre for PZ Cussons at Agecroft, Manchester, and a major leisure-based mixed use scheme in The Republic of Ireland.
Mark Niven commented: "Bennett Architects have built a solid reputation for design within the industrial, distribution and retail property sectors, and the firm`s decision to take a ten year lease demonstrates their continued confidence in Manchester."
Other advisors on the deal included John Chapman of Chapman Law Chartered Surveyors.
