Brothers complete £15 million deal

Two brothers were celebrating today after completing a deal to sell their Poynton-based internet marketing business for £15million.

Paul and Justin Yates, 31 and 33, founded Just Search in 2004 with just £20,000.
Since then the firm has grown substantially, with a £5.5million turnover and annual profits of around £3million. It employs more than 30 staff in total and also operates in London, Sydney, Paris and California.

Just Search, based at Adlington Business Park, near Poynton, Cheshire, is one of the top three search engine optimisation businesses in the country ñ helping boost the rankings of client`s websites on search engines such as Google.

It acts for corporate giants such as Orange and office provider Regus.

Stockholm-based Getupdated Internet Marketing has bought the business for around £15million.
Paul, the chief executive, and sales director Justin will stay on to run the business.

The brothers were advised on the deal by partner Sam Mabon, associate Caroline Tindall and solicitor Ruth Powell at Brabners Chaffe Street, who were referred by Paul Cheetham of Sedulo Accountants.
