New appointment for Liverpool charity team
1/04/2010Leading law firm Brabners Chaffe Street has appointed Deborah Walton as a Senior Associate in the practice`s Charity team.
Deborah, who joins from a large Birmingham-based firm, boasts a wealth of third sector experience, including acting for the Attorney General and the Charity Commission whilst working for the Treasury Solicitor`s Department.
Her new role will see her advising voluntary organisations on issues specific to their sector, including constitutions, governance issues and other related matters. Deborah will also work alongside specialist solicitors drawn from the firm`s core departments to help meet the charity clients` varied requirements.
"Brabners Chaffe Street has a long history of advising North West and national charity clients and has developed significant expertise in meeting their particular needs," said Deborah Walton, Senior Associate at Brabners Chaffe Street. "My own experience is a strong strategic fit with the existing skills of the team, and will help bolster our offering to new and existing client organisations."
