Vetting, Barring and Safeguarding

For charities working with children or vulnerable adults, this course takes a look at the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Groups Act 2006, the need for CRB disclosures, the barred lists and the duty to refer to Independent Safeguarding Authority.

This is a one day accredited course which will be updated and rolled out in 2011 once the Government has announced its plans for the scheme.
